Project based on the Bibliobús service of the town of Vallromanes.

 

We wanted to activate the population with the intervention of the main town square, where its inhabitants do not pay much attention to the loan service.
To reactivate this lack of interest, caused mainly by the poor relationship of the Bibliobús with the school, we installed a metal structure in the shape of holm oak with banks that function as mailboxes for books and storage of stools. The leaves of this structure have different shades and transparencies to create spaces of light and shadow and encourage reading under a tree.

In addition, to propagate this phenomenon, a group of designers will collaborate with entities of the town to carry out workshops and build their own reading tree.

The reading tree expands like a virus.
