Speculative project based on the future of the Barceloneta neighborhood in the year 2030.
Finally the city of Barcelona has managed to transform the port into a place of leisure and restoration, translating all fishermen to a more remote and expensive area of the port. The anger of the residents of the neighborhood, leads them to build a cultural center where the memory of the neighborhood will be preserved through workshops, documents, meals, classes and talks.
The local union and the tools and materials available to fishermen, make this space possible, built with old boats, damaged masts, broken nets, and other materials from the sea.
